About Zoretta

Zoretta Hopkins has been immersed in the world of music from a young age, growing up singing in various choirs, including Sunday School, youth, and adult choirs. Her journey took her to Florida, where she further developed her musical talents by forming a choir with local church members, teaching them songs and vocal parts. Zoretta has worked extensively with both youth and adult choirs within the District of the Southern Diocese of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.

Currently, she serves as the Music Minister at Heart of God Ministries Church, where her passion for music continues to flourish. Over the years, Zoretta has performed in choirs, groups, praise teams, and as a soloist, sharing her gift with diverse audiences. She has also conducted workshops to inspire and educate aspiring musicians. 

Zoretta is a talented songwriter and producer, with several of her original songs, including "Now!", "Battle to Praise," "Dumatilla," and "Strengthen Me," available for streaming on platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, and all major electronic music outlets through CD Baby distributor.

Her impressive performance resume includes singing at the Tennis Open in Palm Beach, FL, and participating in the South Florida Gospel Music Awards in 2019. With a deep knowledge of hymns and a remarkable ability to learn quickly, Zoretta brings a unique charisma and captivating voice to every performance.

In addition to her musical endeavors, Zoretta studied Fashion Merchandising at Bauder College (AA) and Communications at Trinity International (BA). She dedicated 28 years to the School Board of Miami-Dade County before retiring, yet her commitment to singing for the Lord remains unwavering. Wherever she performs, Zoretta's enchanting presence and distinctive voice leave a lasting impression on her audience.
